Meet Mrs. DiMaio

 

Hi!  My name is Cherise DiMaio.  This will be my fourteenth year teaching at Signal Hill and seventh year teaching third grade.   I graduated from Loyola University in Maryland with a Bachelor's of Education.  In college, I studied abroad in New Zealand for a semester and fell in love with adventure and the outdoors.  I also traveled to Italy for 5 weeks where I taught English at an elementary school and camp.  Italy quickly became my favorite country.  After teaching for a couple of years at Signal Hill, I completed my Master's at TCNJ in Special Education with a specialization in Literacy.  

 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I have two children named Allie and Dominic.  I love going out to restaurants, cooking, reading, beach/pool days, hiking, traveling, and paddleboarding.  I'm looking forward to meeting you and having lots of fun in third grade together!
